Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Fernwood North Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
