Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Summit West Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Milwaukee working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
