Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Amberfield Stone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Denver, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 548 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Denver. • We reply to every applicant.
