Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Clearpath Birch Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
