Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Silverline Systems produces packaged foods at its Omaha plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
