Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Silverline Mill Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Phoenix region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
