Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Greenridge West Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
