Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
