Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Summit Mill Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Baltimore. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
