Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Lumen North Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Madison area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
