Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Northwind Hollow Farms is an agricultural business based around Richmond, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
