Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Lumen Basin Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
