Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Cedar Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Milwaukee, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
