Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
