Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Harborlight River Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Milwaukee, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 147 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
