Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone North Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
