Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Ironwood Beacon Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Denver and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
