Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Rivermark Oak Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Salt Lake City. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
