Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Highbridge Thistle Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Oakland area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
