Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Westbrook Sparrow Foods produces packaged foods at its Boise plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
