Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Bright Ember Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Pittsburgh, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
