Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Juniper Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 146 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
