Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Westbrook Mill Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 215 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
