Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Bluepeak Junction Construction is a St. Louis contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
