Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Summit Cobalt Construction Associates delivers building projects for owners across the Sacramento region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 160 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
