Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Logistics and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
