Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Nova Maple Water Authority Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
