Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Ironwood Loom Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Salt Lake City. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
