Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sparrow Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 710 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
