Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Amberfield Ivory Inspection Services Partners tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around San Jose, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
