Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Stonegate Freight is a Pittsburgh logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We reward reliability. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
