Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Ridge Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
