Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Bright Junction Water Authority Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
