Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Summit Vista Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
