Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Clearpath Oak Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
