Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Amberfield Lantern Construction Partners is a Des Moines contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
