Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Cedar Ridge Manufacturing is a Rochester manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
