Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Northwind Birch Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Little Rock design routes and schedules. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
