Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Vale Water Authority Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
