Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Lumen Timber Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Hartford and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
