Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Cedar Facilities and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cleaning schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
