Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Bright Fern Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Miami, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
