Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Northwind Rowan Farms is an agricultural business based around Houston. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
