Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Stonegate Wren Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Reno. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
