Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Clearpath Summit Manufacturing Group is a Memphis manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
