Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Forge Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
