Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Northwind Logistics produces packaged foods at its Minneapolis plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
