Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Lakeside Freight Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
