Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Clearpath Timber Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Portland, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 85 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
