Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Birch Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
